New-generation Maruti S-Cross leaked
Maruti Suzuki is a high volume seller in the Indian market. Most of its cars are the best selling cars of their respective segments. But one car that is a good package but doesn’t sell that well is the S-Cross. Suzuki is working on its new generation to increase its appeal. Suzuki Italy recently teased the headlamps of possible S-Cross. Now we have obtained proper images of the new-generation S-cross. In today’s article, we will see this leaked New-generation S-cross.
What do the leaked images reveal?
The leaked image is posted on the Instagram page of Suzuki garage. The leaked image shows considerable cosmetic changes in the new generation. The front seems to be heavily inspired by the XL6. In the front, it gets redesigned tri-beam full LED headlamps. In the middle, it gets a big rectangular grille. This grille gets two chrome strips running through the middle connecting the headlamps. The front bumper is also redesigned with a new fog lamp and lighting elements. The New-generation also looks more upright than the current model giving it a more muscular look. Coming to the side profile, the size looks similar to the current model.
What else is expected
The new-generation Suzuki S-Cross will get a lot of changes in the interiors. It will get a modern dashboard layout with more premium interiors. It is expected to get a large touchscreen infotainment system with phone connectivity, steering mounted controls and an improved instrument cluster. Globally it is also expected to get autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and so on. Mechanically, it will come with a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid technology. Transmission options will include a manual and a torque converter gearbox.
India launch
The new-generation S-Cross will make its global debut on 25th November. It is expected to be launched step by step in European countries. The S-Cross is expected to make its way into the Indian market by the end of 2022 or early 2023.
