What the spy shots reveal?

The spy shots are from Maruti’s test facility. Overall, the Baleno will be getting a couple of changes with this facelift. The front fascia will get a new bumper with bigger fog lamps and a bigger, stretched grille. The headlamps have been also updated to accommodate the grille. Front bonnet will now come with a big line that will distinguish the bonnet and the grille. Although the images don not reveal the side profile, but we are confident of the updated Baleno coming with new alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets L-shaped tail lamps that extend into the tailgate. The car does get a rear spoiler as well. There are not many details about the interior and features, but the car will get a lot of cosmetic changes on the inside as well.

What else is expected?

Considering this is a facelift, it will carry the same engine options as the current model. It will come with a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.2-litre Dual Jet engine. Transmission options will continue to include a manual and a CVT gearbox. Features wise, it is expected to get four airbags, rear AC vents, fast charging ports, wireless charging, a new touch screen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster and an improved MID. Considering that the spied car looks production-ready, we expect the car to launch somewhere around next year.
