6 new up-coming Maruti cars in 2022-23
Maruti is a brand that has more than 40 percent of the market share. Six cars from Maruti Suzuki appeared on the list of top ten selling cars in October 2021. The brand understands the Indian buyer’s mindset and sentiments and places products of everyone’s requirements. In this article, we will discuss seven upcoming cars from Maruti that will be launched in 2022-23.
New Generation Vitara Brezza
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza sold 8032 units in October 2021 and continues to bring good sales for Maruti in the sub-four-metre SUV segment. This is one car from Maruti that needs a much-awaited update. A new generation Vitara Brezza is soon expected to be launched around 2022-23. Currently, the Vitara Brezza gets a smart hybrid system (SHVS). The new generation car will get a better hybrid system. There will be a 1-kWh or 2-kWh battery pack with regenerative capability this will overall make the car more fuel-efficient.
Maruti Baleno facelift
Maruti Suzuki Baleno was the second best-selling car in October 2021 with 15,573 units sold. The car is a premium hatchback offered by Maruti. YTB Punch competition
Maruti Suzuki is working on a new coupe-inspired design similar to the Futuro-E concept car that was on display during the Auto Expo 2020. The car is codenamed YTB and is expected to get the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that is currently seen in the Baleno. The car is also expected to get a 1.2-litre Dual Jet petrol engine. The car will be available in manual and CVT gearbox.
Maruti Creta Competition
Maruti Suzuki is working along with Toyota on a C-segment SUV to rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Skoda Kushaq. The car is said to be based on the TNGA platform from Toyota. Both Maruti Suzuki and Toyota will be selling this car with their unique styling.
New Generation Alto
The Maruti Suzuki Alto has been consistently the bestselling car for the last few months. In October 2021, 17,389 units of Alto were sold. The car is popular for its compact size and hassle-free ownership. The Alto just like Celerio is also long due for an update. In this generation update, the Alto is expected to get a new platform, new design, and some added features.
Maruti Jimny five-door version
Ever since Jimny was displayed at the Auto Expo 2020, there have been various speculations and rumors related to this car. The Jimny is expected to come in a five-door version in India. The car is expected to get Maruti’s 1.5-litre petrol engine. This car will be placed in the lifestyle SUV market and compete with Mahindra Thar.
