The new-generation Scorpio will get a modern design with new design elements similar to the XUV700. It will get an aggressive design in the front with vertical LED headlamps. It will also get a big grille with Mahindra’s new twin-peaked logo in the middle. The bumpers will be redesigned with new fog lamps. The side profile will get that extended look. At the rear, it will get new tail lamps and spoiler. It will also get a new alloy wheel design. The car will look quite big and imposing like other Mahindra cars.

The interiors will also get a modern dashboard layout. From the earlier spy shots, it is clear that the interiors will be similar to the XUV700. It will get a big infotainment system in the middle flanked by vertical AC vents on both sides. Other than this, it gets normal switches for ac control and an electric sunroof. 

Specifications

The new-generation Scorpio is expected to get both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is expected to be the 2.0-litre mStallion engine that powers the Thar. This engine will be offered in a different tune than the Thar. The diesel engine is expected to be the 2.2-litre mHawk engine. This engine will come with the XUV700 base variant tune, capable of producing 152bhp and 360Nm of torque. Both the engines will get manual and automatic gearbox options. It might even get a hybrid engine option.

Mahindra has loaded the XUV700 with features. It will carry forward a lot of features from the XUV700. It will get features like a basic version of AdrenoX,  a 10-inch infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, front parking sensors, a premium sound system, 3rd row AC vents and charging spots.
