The rear will also get revamped taillamps and bumpers.

The new generation Nexon will be based on Tata’s ALFA-ARC platform. Currently, the Nexon gets a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 118bhp and 170Nm of torque. It also gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine capable of producing 108bhp and 260Nm of torque. Tata might retune the engines to produce extra power. The Nexon might finally come with a proper automatic gearbox in its new generation.

The Nexon comes already loaded with features. In its new generation, it will get new features like wireless charging, wireless connectivity, a better instrument cluster, a bigger touchscreen and ventilated seats. Added safety features might include six airbags and ESO modes like the Harrier.

The Nexon got its facelift in 2020. Now the next update will surely be the new generation of the Nexon. The Nexon new generation is expected to be launched by the end of 2022 or early 2023. The pricing of the New generation Nexon is expected to start from Rs 8 lakh.
