It will also get a lot of comfort features. Mahindra might even offer some features from the XUV700 on the Scorpio. It is also expected to be priced competitively like the XUV700.
Maruti Jimny
The lifestyle segment is growing rapidly in the Indian market. The Jimny is a hotly anticipated car in this segment. Maruti has been testing the Jimny for the Indian market but hasn’t launched it yet. The launch of the Jimny is delayed due to the global chip shortage. Maruti is expected to bring the 5-door version of the Jimny. This extended version will be more practical for the Indian market.
Upcoming Rs 10 lakh SUVs- Maruti Baleno SUV
The Baleno is one of the most successful hatchbacks in the Indian market. Maruti is now working on an SUV version of the Baleno. The SUV version of the Baleno is in its development stages and is codenamed YTB. Maruti had displayed a prototype of this Baleno SUV at the Auto Expo 2020.
New generation Mahindra Bolero
Mahindra is also updating the Bolero. The Bolero is another important SUV in its lineup. The Bolero is especially popular in rural areas due to its rugged and reliable nature. In its new generation, Mahindra will look to give it a new design and updated interiors. Like the Scorpio, it might also get some new features from the XUV700.
Upcoming Rs 10 lakh SUVs- Tata Punch EV
Tata is expanding its EV lineup. It’s updating its ICE-powered cars with EV powertrains. Tata recently launched the Punch in the Indian market. We expect Tata to give the Punch an EV version soon. This Tata Punch will get Tata’s Ziptron technology with an expected range of 300-350km. It will also get fast charging capabilities similar to the Nexon EV.
