Hyundai Venue facelift spotted
The sub-compact SUV is the fastest-growing segment in the Indian market. The Hyundai Venue is one such car that has benefited a lot from this trend. It is one of the best selling cars in this segment. But other competition cars are catching up the Venue in the sales race. To counter this, Hyundai is working on the facelifted version of the Venue. This Venue facelift has been spotted testing for the first time. In today’s article, we will see this spotted Hyundai Venue facelift.
What was spotted?
This Hyundai Venue facelift was spotted in a parking lot in South Korea. This is the first time the facelift of the Venue has been spotted testing. From the spy shots, it is easy to figure out that this is the Venue under the camouflage. The spotted car is under heavy camouflage, so it is hard to figure out much. But from the front, we can see the grille looks a bit different. The rest of the DRL and headlamp looks identical to the current generation. The side profile looks exactly similar to the current generation. The only difference in the side profile is the new alloy wheel design. This alloy wheel design is similar to the alloys on the Hyundai Casper. At the rear, the taillamps look quite different. They look sleeker and will be inspired by the Creta design language.
What else can we expect?
Considering the heavy camouflage, we can expect a new bumper design. Other than this, the Venue facelift will get interior changes and some new features. It is expected to get features like a new heads up display, ventilated seats, a new infotainment system and a new music system. Some more feature will be added to the rear seats as well.
Specifications
As this is a facelift, we expect Hyundai to retain the same engine options. The current Venue comes with three engine options: 1.5-litre diesel, 1.2-litre petrol and 1.0-litre turbo petrol. The only addition could be an automatic gearbox in the diesel engine. Currently, only the Kia Sonet comes with a proper automatic gearbox in the diesel engine in this segment.
