Tata Punch price revealed
Tata has been on a roll in the Indian market. The major contributor to this has been their SUV lineup. To continue with this momentum, Tata is bringing another SUV, the Punch. Tata had already done the full reveal of the Punch. But it’s pricing was not revealed at that time. Today, Tata has revealed the pricing of the Punch. Tata Punch Price and variants
The pricing of the Tata punch starts from Rs 5.49 lakh and goes to Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). AMT transmission will be Rs 60k more. This prices will be valid up to 31st December 2021. Customization packs include the Rhythm pack for 35,000, Dazzle pack for 45,000 & iRA pack for 30,000. The booking amount for the Punch is Rs 21,000. It comes in four variants- Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative.
Dimensions
This car will be entering the sub-four-segment. Dimension wise, it is 3827mm in length, 1742mm in width and 1615mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 2445mm and has a ground clearance of 190mm. It has a boot space of 366-litres.
Design
The punch carries the impact 2.0 design language. It gets eyebrow DRLs with LED headlamps below them. Something which we see on Tata cars like the Harrier and Safari. It gets a closed-off grille, while the fender bumper gets the tri-arrow elements. The side profile of the Punch comes with curvy bits to give it an SUV look. The rear of the Punch is similar to the Nexon.
Tata Punch Pricing- Specifications
The Punch comes with the 1.2-litre Revotron engine with Dynapro technology. This engine is capable of producing 84bhp and 113Nm of torque. Transmission options include a manual and an AMT gearbox. Tata might give it a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine in the future. It also gets Tata’s new traction pro-control, helping the car in a low traction environment and mud. We think a diesel engine will also be a good option for this car in the future.
Features
The Punch comes loaded with features. It gets features like projector headlamps, a 7.0-inch infotainment system, automatic headlamps, cruise control, Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay, automatic AC, reverse parking camera & sensors and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
