2022 Tata Nexon to get 10 new features

The Nexon is a very important product for Tata motors. It continues to rake in good sales for the company. The facelift it got in 2020 helped it to increase sales. The Nexon is famous for its high safety rating and features. But as with any car, it needs some more things to become a segment leader. In today’s article, we will see ten new features coming to the 2022 Tata Nexon.

New design

The Nexon already has a good design. But with its new generation, it would get an updated design. It will get new LED headlamps and taillamps with a new grille and bumpers. This will help Tata to differentiate the two models. 

Proper automatic gearbox

Currently, the Nexon comes with an AMT gearbox. AMT gearboxes are not proper automatic and have jerky gear shifts. All the competition cars come with proper automatic gearboxes. So Tata should give the Nexon a torque converter or DCT gearbox.

2022 Tata Nexon- Fully digital instrument cluster

The Tata Nexon comes with a digital instrument cluster, but it is a TFT display. This TFT display is not that good and is hard to read. Tata should give it a better, fully instrument cluster that can maintain the premiumness of the Nexon.

New touchscreen with an air purifier

The Nexon currently comes with a 7-inch infotainment system. But competition cars offer much bigger infotainment systems. Tata should also change the UI on the infotainment, which is unresponsive and laggy. Tata can also add an air-purifier on the infotainment system like it did on the Safari. 

Ventilated seats

Ventilated seats are quite a useful feature in our hot and humid conditions. Tata recently added ventilated seats in the Safari. As Tata already has the tech-ready, they should also bring it on the Nexon.

2022 Tata Nexon- Wireless charging

Wireless charging is slowly becoming a norm in the smartphone industry. Wireless charging is especially convenient in cars as it provides an uncluttered cabin experience. Tata recently added it in Safari, so Nexon could also get it in this update. 

Wireless connectivity

Similar to wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay provide great convenience. It is a really useful feature to connect your phone with the infotainment system. Tata should add this to the 2022 Nexon.

A bigger wheel diameter translates to better handling. It is also helpful to increase the mileage. Currently, in this segment, only the XUV300 comes with 17-inch tyres. Nexon getting it can help it better compete with the XUV300.

The 360-degree camera is another feature that is quite helpful in our crowded cities. It can be used to eliminate blind spots and tight parking spots. This feature can help Nexon to better compete with the competition.
