Tata has launched the Punch in this segment. Hyundai had also unveiled the Casper in South Korea. Seeing this, Kia might also launch a sub-compact SUV. This Kia SUV will follow Kia’s bold and aggressive design language. From the front, it will take inspiration from the Sonet with DRLs integrated into the headlamps. The side profile will be similar to the Hyundai Casper. From the rear, it will get uniform looks to match the front. It will get a tall boy design like the Casper.
Kia Rs 5 lakh SUV Specifications
This Kia compact SUV will be based on Hyundai’s K1 platform like the Casper. If the car is launched in India, it will most likely get the 1.1-litre and 1.2-litre petrol engines that powers cars like the Hyundai Santro and i10-nios. The 1.1-litre petrol engine produces 68bhp and 99Nm of torque. The other 1.2-litre engine produces 82bhp and 114Nm of torque. Transmission options will include manual and AMT gearbox.

This car, like other Kia cars, comes loaded with features. It will get features like a premium sound system, connected car tech, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with phone connectivity, keyless entry and reverse parking camera & sensors. Safety features will include dual airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX.
