The Seltos has become the best selling SUV in September, beating its arch-rival, the Hyundai Creta. It is famous for its aggressive design and long list of features. Kia sold 9,583 units of the Seltos in September. It had sold 8,619 units in August.
The Nexon continues to rake in good numbers for Tata motors. High safety ratings are one of the biggest USPs in its segment. The car has found a lot of popularity among buyers. Tata sold 9,211 units of Nexon in September. It had sold 10,006 units in August.

Kia Sonet is another fierce competitor in its segment. Its launch last year revolutionized this segment. It is famous for its bold design and features. Kia sold 4,454 units of Sonet in September. It had sold 7,752 units in August.
The XUV300 is another compact car that has been selling quite well. It is the safest car in the Indian market. Other than that, it is known for its powerful engines and features. Mahindra sold 3,693 units of the XUV300 in September. It had sold 5,861 units in August.
The Thar continues to cash in on its popularity in the lifestyle SUV segment. It has one of the highest waiting periods in the Indian car market. Mahindra sold 3,134 units of the Thar in September. It had sold 3,493 units in August.
The Harrier also continues to sell in decent numbers for Tata Motors. It is famous for its design and big size. Tata sold 2,821 units of the Harrier in September. It had sold 2,743 units in August.
Hector was the first car from MG for India. The car sits in the mid-size SUV segment, taking on products like the Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson. MG sold 2,722 units of Hector in September whereas 3,276 units were sold in August.
The Scorpio is an iconic product in the Indian market. It is known for its muscular road presence and rugged dynamics. Mahindra sold 2,588 units of the Scorpio in September. It had sold 2,606 units in August.
