These cars coming in their much-needed new generation is awaited by car lovers across the country. In this article, we discuss five such SUVs that will get a new generation.

Duster

The globally available new generation of Renault Duster is what we expect to be seen on Indian roads soon. Duster is one car that desperately needs a new generation. The new generation Duster comes with various engine options. it gets a 1.5-litre Turbodiesel, bi-fuel (petrol) motor, 1-litre petrol engine, 1.3-litre petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre petrol engine. The European version of Duster looks sharper and comes with newly designed headlamps and LED turn indicators, a new rear bumper, and a bolder front.

Tata nexon

New Generation Tata Nexon

The Tata Nexon has got a facelift so far. This is one more car that needs a new generation. The car is already popular and if it gets a new generation that would definitely boost sales of Nexon as well. The New generation of Nexon will be built on the ALFA-ARC and will have the Impact 3.0 design language which we have seen in the recently launched cars by Tata Motors.

Brezza

Maruti Suzuki Brezza

The next generation of Maruti Suzuki Brezza is expected to come with a hybrid engine. His engine will be a smart hybrid as seen on Toyota cars and not the mild hybrid that we currently get in Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. This will improve the fuel efficiency of Brezza. The Brezza will also get some changes in design as well.

Tata Bolero Competition SUV

Mahindra Bolero

Bolero is the oldest car on this list. It has not received any generation update since its launch in 2000. The car did get safety feature updates and few cosmetic updates but didn’t get a proper next generation as a successor. The new generation Bolero will be based on the same platform Mahindra uses to build Thar. The car will be offered in a sub-four meter segment with a 1.5-litre diesel engine. We expect Mahindra to offer both manual and automatic transmission in the new generation Bolero.

Scorpio

The overall design and looks have changed with new dimensions and new design the new Scorpio looks even more promising. However, the new Scorpio does bring in the front grille and headlamps from its ancestors so that it resembles the previous versions.

The new Scorpio comes loaded with new features. Some features are to be included for the first time in a Scorpio like projector headlamps, daytime running led lights, ground clearance of 200mm, LED tail lamps, 17-inch wheels. Also included in the new Scorpio there will be leather upholstery, more space for second-row passengers, rear ac vents for the second row, a Touch screen infotainment system with apple car play, and android auto, push start-stop, keyless entry. It is also speculated that the new Scorpio may even have Connected car technology. This new avatar of Scorpio will also have some remarkable safety features like 6 airbags, ABS+EBD, traction control, ESP which was previously not included.
