Hyundai Venue facelift to get segment-first features

Hyundai venue is another bestselling product from Hyundai after Creta. The Venue is popular in its sub-four meter segment ever since its launch. It’s been a while now and the Venue deserves a facelift as other cars in its segment have already got one. In this article, we discuss our expectations from the Hyundai Venue facelift.

Exteriors

We expect the Venue to get redesigned bumper and front grille and a new design on its alloy wheels. These new elements will give Venue a fresh look. Hyundai might try to insert some elements in terms of exterior design from the Hyundai Venue Flux that’s currently sold in Korea. The Hyundai Venue Flux gets a bigger and bolder dark-colored grille which makes it look bigger as if it was in the same segment as the MG Hector. A similar design update to the Venue over here in India could pump up its style quotient.

Interiors

When it comes to the interiors of the Venue, we expect Hyundai to offer better-connected car technology via its Blue Link. They might add some more features to the Blue Link tech to make life a bit relaxed. We also expect beige interiors, a better sound system, ventilated seats, and ambient lighting. A bigger 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment system in the top-end variant is also expected.

Engine

Hyundai currently offers three engine options in Venue, 1.0L Turbo Petrol, 1.2L Petrol, and a 1.5L Diesel. The petrol variants get options of manual, IMT, and DCT options, but the diesel variant doesn’t get an option of automatic transmission. We could expect a diesel automatic coming up in Venue in this facelift. This could attract buyers who prefer to drive diesel automatic and have not considered Hyundai Venue as there is no diesel automatic option available.

Segment first features ADAS

The venue could get some segment-first features like a 360degree camera and ADAS level 1. With ADAS getting added to Venue this could be a game-changer in the sub-four meter SUV segment. Features like adaptive cruise control, emergency brake assist, lane keep assist, lane centering, and lane departure warning could be expected to be included in the Venue facelift. Currently, no other car in the sub-four meter SUV segment gets ADAS. Hyundai might get the benefit of early entry with such features added to Venue. Eventually pushing sales of Hyundai Venue to the next level.
