The Astor is 4323mm in length, 1809mm in width and 1650mm in height. Comparing to the competition, the Creta is 4300mm in length, 1790mm in width & 1635mm in height. The Seltos is 4315mm in length, 1800mm in width & 1635mm in height. Kushaq is 4221mm in length, 1760mm in width and 1612mm in height. From the dimensions, it is clear that the Astor is bigger in almost all the parameters.
Engine specifications
The Astor comes with 1.5-litre petrol and 1.3-litre turbo petrol. The 1.5-litre petrol produces 108bhp and 144Nm of torque. 1.3-litre turbo petrol produces 138bhp and 220Nm of torque. As Astor only comes with petrol engine we will only compare the petrol engine. But a diesel engine is a big advantage in the favour of the Korean twins. Both the cars get 1.5-litre and 1.4-litre turbo petrol. The 1.5-litre petrol produces 113bhp and 144Nm of torque. 1.4-litre turbo petrol produces 138bhp and 242Nm of torque. The Kushaq and Taigun also get the same engines 1.0-lite turbo and 1.5-litre turbo petrol. The 1.0-litre engine produces 113bhp and 178Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre engine produces 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. The Volkswagen twins have the most powerful engines, while the Astor has power output similar to the Korean twins.

The Astor packs in a lot of segment-first features with ADAS level 2 and personal assistant. No car in this segment comes with ADAS (level2). It matches the Korean twins in its features. Kushaq and Taigun are not that features loaded when compared to the Astor and Korean twins.
Pricing
MG has not yet revealed the pricing of the Astor. But it is expected to be the price in the Rs 10-17 lakh (ex-showroom) range. The pricing of the Creta starts from Rs 12.06 lakh and goes to Rs 21.33 lakh(on-road, Mumbai). The pricing of the Seltos starts from Rs 11.64 lakh and goes to Rs 21.81 lakh(on-road, Mumbai). The pricing of the Kushaq starts from Rs 12.33 lakh and goes to Rs 20.66 lakh(on-road, Mumbai). The pricing of the Taigun starts from Rs 12.44 lakh and goes to Rs 20.74 lakh(on-road, Mumbai).
