Tata Safari gets big feature additions
Tata has been aggressive in the Indian car market. It has been launching some great products. It is also continuously updating its current cars to outwit the competition. Earlier this year, Tata launched its iconic Safari in the Indian segment. Now with increasing competition from cars like XUV700, Tata has bought in a variant of the Safari, the Gold Edition. In today’s article, we will see this Tata safari new features.
Exterior changes
On the exterior, the golden edition gets a lot of subtle changes. It gets gold highlights on the grille, with the Tata logo also getting a gold outline. The DRLs also get gold outlines and the headlamp will also get a gold outline. On the side profile, it gets a gold mascot badge. Door handles also get gold highlights. The upper roof rails also get gold highlights. At the rear, it gets gold treatment on the Tata logo and Safari badging. It gets new R18 alloy charcoal black. The gold edition comes in two colour options- white-gold and black-gold.
Interior changes
In the interior also the gold edition gets a lot of gold elements. The dashboard is in black or white with splashes of gold. Below that it gets a big strip of gold. The AC vents and instruments also get gold outlines. The Tata logo on the steering wheel gets a gold Tata logo. Door handles on the inside also come gold plated. It gets gold badging on the seats.
Tata Safari Gold edition features
Tata has added a lot of customers demanded features in the gold edition. It gets 1st and 2nd-row ventilated seats in its 6-seater variants, which is a segment-first feature. Other new features include an air purifier, wireless charger, wireless Andriod Auto and Apple Carplay and marble-finished dashboard.

Tata is bringing the gold edition in its XZ+ and XZA+ variants of the Safari. The pricing of the gold edition starts from Rs 21.89 lakh and goes to Rs 23.17 lakh(ex-showroom).
