The Maruti XL6 is 4445mm in length, 1775mm in width and 1700mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 2740mm and has a ground clearance of 180mm. From the dimensions, it is clear that the XL6 is a bigger car in all its aspects, only its width is less compared to the Creta. The XL6 is a 6-seater, while the Creta is a 5-seater.

In its E and EX variants, Creta comes with two engine options; a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 113bhp and 143Nm of torque, whereas the diesel engine produces 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. You can only get a manual transmission with these variants.

The Pricing of the EX variant is Rs 13.26 lakh. While the top-spec variant of XL6 is priced at Rs 12.34 lakh for the manual and Rs 13.72 lakh for the automatic (on-road, Mumbai).

Conclusion

The XL6 offers almost everything the Creta EX variant offers. If you are looking for a big car with decent features, then XL6 is the best bet. If you are looking for an automatic then XL6 is your only option. While Creta is also a good option, its lower variants don’t come with that many features.
