The Vitara Brezza has once again taken the crown of being the best selling SUV in India. The Brezza is known for being the safest Maruti car and fuss-free ownership experience. Maruti sold 12,906 units of the Brezza in August. Brezza had managed to sell 12,833 units in the month of July.
Hyundai Creta
The Creta has again taken the top spot in the C-segment SUV segment. The Creta continues to rake in good numbers for Hyundai. It is known for its brand value and a long list of features. Hyundai sold 12,597 units of the Creta in August. Last month the brand had managed to sell 13,000 units of the Creta.
Maruti Suzuki Swift
The Swift has kind of fallen off a bit, considering it is always in the top 3. Like other Maruti cars, it is known for its affordable and reliable nature. Maruti sold 12,483 units in the month of August. A decrease from 18,434 units it had sold in the month of July.
Maruti Suzuki Eeco
Eeco currently has no competition in its segment. So it should come as no surprise that it is on this list. Maruti sold 10,666 units of the Eeco in the month of August. It had sold 10,057 units in the month of July.
Tata Nexon
The Nexon is constantly raking in good numbers for Tata Motors. The high safety ratings are one of its biggest USPs in this segment. For the second month in a row, Tata has managed to sell 10,000 units of the Nexon. In June, it had sold 10,287 units and in August, it sold 10,006 units of the Nexon.
Maruti Suzuki WagonR
The WagonR is always on this list, but mostly in the top half of the table. The WagonR is also a prefered choice among first-time buyers, as it provides a spacious cabin at an affordable price. Maruti sold 9,628 units of the WagonR in August, which is way less than the 22,836 units it sold in July.
Kia Seltos
The Seltos has managed to crawl its way back into the top 10 selling cars in India. The seltos is famous for their aggressive design and features. Kia sold 8,619 units of the Seltos in August. A substantial increase from the 6,983 units it sold in July.
Hyundai Venue
Like the Creta, Venue has also managed to come in the top 10 selling car list for Hyundai. Its wide variant list and transmission combinations make this a great choice for a wide array of buyers. Hyundai sold 8,377 units in August. An increase from last month sales of 8,185 units.
