The Indian car market has been experiencing a lot of launches and comebacks from various automakers in recent times. With multiple launches already done, There are still many cars that have been lined up for stepping into the Indian market. Volkswagen Taigun

The Volkswagen Taigun SUV is based on the MQB-AO-IN platform, shared by its sister, the Skoda Kushaq. The car will offer features like a touchscreen infotainment system, a sporty flat-bottomed steering, a touch-operable climate control panel, wireless charging, an electric sunroof and a fully digital instrument cluster. The Taigun will be offered with two turbocharged petrol engines, a 1.0-litre TSI turbo and a 1.5-litre TSI turbo unit. The former is capable of producing 114bhp & 175Nm of torque and the latter produces 148bhp & 250Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a six-speed manual as standard, with a six-speed torque converter exclusive for the 1.0-litre unit and a seven-speed DSG exclusive for the 1.5-litre unit. The car will launch in September.

MG Astor

MG is set to enter the C-SUV segment with its Astor. Although the Astor is based on the ZS EV, the car will get a redesigned front with slimmer full-LED headlamps, a new hexagonal grille and new bumpers. The rear will also get sharper LED tail lamps and a prominent faux skid plate. The car will also get a newly designed set of alloys. A floating touchscreen infotainment system with a Jio e-SIM for in-car connectivity features and a panoramic sunroof to be included in the feature list. The MG Astor is expected to get a 1.5-litre petrol engine which will produce 120bhp and 150Nm of torque. Additionally, there might be a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol unit that will produce 163bhp and 230Nm of torque. The Astor will launch in September.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG

Maruti is expected to bring in a CNG variant of the Vitara Brezza in the coming time. This will make the Brezza the first sub-four-metre SUV in the country to be made available with a CNG option. As far as the exterior is concerned, we are not expecting any major cosmetic changes, however, the car might get a CNG badging at the rear or on the sides. Inside the Brezza, the infotainment system will be made available just like the petrol-powered Brezza. The interior of the CNG variant is likely to be the same as the in-market model.

New Rs 6 lakh new-generation premium hatchback planned

The Vitara Brezza CNG will be powered by the 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 138 Nm of torque. When including a CNG kit, the power output is expected to drop, however, the overall value is bound to increase, looking at the current petrol prices.

Mahindra & Mahindra has recently launched the Bolero Neo, an addition to the Bolero family. However, the automaker is likely to spawn a bigger version of the Bolero Neo, the Bolero Neo Plus which is mostly expected to be a nine-seater SUV. As far as looks go, it is expected to be inspired from the Bolero Neo but we can expect some minor changes in the front.

Mahindra XUV700 vs Tata Safari – Segment’s BEASTS

Talking about the interiors, nothing much will be changed in the interior as well, we are expecting the more-or-less the same upholstery which has been made available with the seater-seater version. Mechanically, the automaker is likely to feature a more powerful 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. This unit is expected to produce 130bhp & 300Nm of torque and will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
