Volkswagen Taigun pricing

Looking at the above offering, the Volkswagen Taigun does have the potential to become a segment killer. The car will come with some segment-first features like Digital Cockpit and connected LED tail lamps. However, Volkswagen would have to keep the pricing competitive in order to take on a product like the Hyundai Creta which is the current segment-king. We expect Volkswagen to bing this product starting at Rs 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 18.5 lakh (ex-showroom). We expect variants to be limited and to be decently loaded with features.

Check out all the details below that make this car a great offering.

Talking about the design of the car, it overflows with typical Volkswagen vibes. It gets sharp lines and creases at the front with generous use of chrome. The side profile of the car gets a clean look similar to the Skoda Kushaq. The rear gets LED tail lamps that stretch from end to end. LED DRLs, LED projector lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels and usable roof rails are some of the key design features.

Interior design

Coming to the interiors, it gets chrome highlights and light coloured wraps around the dashboard. The cabin gets the new Volkswagen steering wheel, an 8.0-inch Digital Cockpit, an electric sunroof and automatic AC. The seats are comfortable and offer a lot of headroom and legroom. The top-end 1.0 TSI comes with ventilated seats, which is missing on the 1.5 DSG.
