The Ola scooter comes with a minimalistic design with twin headlamps surrounded by a rectangular DRL strip. We expect a tyre size of 12-inches at the front as well as the rear. Range
Ola scooter is expected to come with the best-in-class range. Ola scooter is expected to get a maximum range of 150km. This can be a big step-up from the current scooters, as Ola has said that these numbers are the actual figures, not the promised ones. The scooter might not get swappable batteries, which were speculated earlier.
Features
The Ola scooter is expected to come with a lot of convenience-based features. It is expected to come with the biggest-in-class boot space, Bluetooth connectivity that can pair up to your phone to offer features such as geo-fencing, remote locking/unlocking, on-screen navigation and phone calls & music playback management.
Hypercharging network
Ola is looking to unveil its “hyper charging” network soon after the launch of its scooter. It will be one of the world’s largest EV charging networks, according to Ola. The network will provide customers with high-speed chargers. The idea is to offer 1,00,000 charging points across 400 cities over a while. Ola is confident of setting up 5000 charging points in the first year itself. This will be a big boost for the EV industry.
Ola electric scooter price and launch
The Ola scooter will be launched on the 15th of August. We expect Ola to price its electric scooter under Rs 1 lakh, which will be quite a competitive price. It will compete with petrol-powered scooters as well as other electric scooters like Ather 450X and Honda Activa.
