Toyota has one of the biggest portfolios in the world, with varieties of automobiles in its list. The Japanese carmaker surely gets some of the spectacular cars in their global lineup. Toyota Supra
The Toyota Supra is a sports and grand tourer from the Japanese carmaker. The Supra’s mix of punchy acceleration, agile handling and quick steering are some of the car’s unique selling points. The Toyota Supra features a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder engine that produces 382bhp and 500Nm of torque. All Supra models come with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive.
The Supra has a starting price of $44,215 (INR 32.89 lakh) and goes upto $64,305 (INR 47.83 lakh).
Toyota Hilux
The lifestyle pickup segment in India is currently being monopolized by the Isuzu D-max V-cross. The Hilux’s entry into the Indian market can be a successful stab form the carmaker to this segment. The Hilux is based on the same IMV platform which underpins the Innova and the Fortuner. With a touch of ruggedness inside the cabin, Hilux offers a 8.0-inch touchscreen Toyota’s familiar Touch 2 system, with shortcut hard-keys surrounding the screen is fitted to all versions except the entry-level trim. The truck is also being equipped with an array of braking and driving controls like Vehicle Stability Controls (VSC), hill start and descent controls and more.
The Hilux features only a single engine option, a 2.8-litre diesel which is governed by a manual and an automatic gearbox which produces 201bhp and 500Nm of torque. The Hilux is one of the most important Toyota cars we want in India.

Toyota Land Cruiser
Known for its superior build-quality and upmarket interiors, the Toyota Land Cruiser has been the Japanese carmaker’s bestseller globally. Moreover, the newly-unveiled LC300 has already bagged more than 20,000 pre-orders in Japan.
As per reports, Toyota is offering two engine options, first is a twin-turbo V6 3.5-litre petrol unit which can produce 403bhp and 650 Nm of torque. The second one is the 3.3-litre twin-turbo diesel unit which produces 301bhp and 700 Nm of torque. Both the engines will be governed by a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The Land Cruiser will eventually be one of the global Toyota cars we want and will get in India.
Toyota cars we want – 4Runner
The Toyota 4Runner is a mid-size Sport Utility Vehicle produced by the Japanese manufacturer. The SUV is expected to get a new TRD Sport model, which for the longest time has only been offered on its pickup counterpart, the Toyota Tacoma as an update for 2022 in foreign markets. Mechanically speaking, every 4Runner features a 4.0-litre V6 petrol unit which makes 266bhp and 377Nm of torque. The SUV is Available with rear-wheel drive and either full- or part-time four-wheel-drive systems.
The Toyota 4Runner has a starting price of $38,640 (INR 28.74 lakh) and goes up to $44,895 (INR 33.39 lakh).
Toyota cars we want – RAV4
The RAV4 is one of the most selling SUVs in foreign market from the Japanese automaker. Its swanky and outdoorsy look is definitely an eye-candy for SUV lovers. Interior accommodations are spacious and the materials chosen are durable, but those buyers seeking modern-day convenience features such as power-adjustable seats, push-button start, and blind-spot monitoring, climate-control system with dust and pollen filter, among others.
No matter which trim you choose, the RAV4 comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine which produces 200bhp and is governed by a 8-speed automatic gearbox. Front-wheel drive is standard but all-wheel drive is optional on the LE, XLE, XLE Premium, and Limited, and standard on the Adventure and TRD Off-Road models.
The RAV4 has a starting price of $27,565 (INR 20.50 lakh) for its base trim, LE and goes all the way up to $37,295 (INR 27.74 lakh)
