Cars launching in next 31 days – Know them all!
Car manufacturers have had a tough time doing business due to the pandemic. This, coupled with chip shortage has made the situation worse for OEMs. Though the sales figures have remained constant, a lot of new car launches have been delayed. Now manufacturers are slowly lining up launches as the Covid-19 situation is improving. We have already seen some recent launches viz. Skoda Kushaq, Skoda Octavia, Hyundai Alcazar and Mahindra Bolero Neo. Moving forward, we are going to see a sleeve of new launches in the coming month. Here is a list of cars launching in the next 31 days.
Tata Tiago NRG
Tata Motors recently announced that they will be bringing back the rugged, crossover version of the Tiago hatchback, the Tiago NRG. This NRG version of the Tiago will get redesigned bumpers, black cladding all-round, and faux skid plates. Other features will include new alloy wheels and tweaked interiors. The car will most likely be powered by the same 1.2-litre Revotron engine that powers the standard Tiago. This engine is capable of producing 84bhp and 113Nm of torque. The car will be launched on 4th August.
Mahindra XUV700
Talking about one of the most hotly anticipated cars in the Indian car market, Mahindra might unveil the XUV700 in August. We have already seen the car undergoing testing multiple times. Mahindra has also started teasing some of its features like the biggest-in-segment panoramic sunroof, Auto Booster headlamps, flush door handles, smart air purifier and personalized safety message feature. It is expected to get the most powerful engines in its segment.
Force Motors Gurkha
The new-generation Gurkha was unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo. It has got a more modern design language and updated interiors. It will be powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine that produces 89bhp and 260Nm of torque. It will come with a 4×4 drivetrain with a low-range transfer case and manual locking differential. Other features it would come with are LED headlamps, power windows, an infotainment system and rear parking sensors. It will rival the Mahindra Thar and the upcoming Maruti Jimny.
Honda Amaze facelift
Honda is all set to give its compact sedan a mid-life update in the coming weeks. The Amaze facelift is expected to get a new headlamp design and redesigned front bumper. It might also get a fresh set of alloys. Along with these, the interior could get a fresh layout as well as a new infotainment system. The engine specifications, however, are excepted to remain the same.
