The Thar comes with powerful petrol and diesel engine. The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 150bhp and 300Nm of torque. The 2.2-litre diesel engine produces 130bhp and 300Nm of torque. The Thar comes with a manual and a torque converter gearbox. It comes with an all-wheel-drive option helping it transverse a wide variety of terrains. The Thar, due to its off-road capability, comes with a ground clearance of 225mm as well.
