Bajaj has brought back the legendary Chetak scooter in an electric avatar. The electric Chetak might have maintained a retro design, but goes big on features. The scooter comes with a digital instrument cluster and LED lights to give it a more modern look. It has a 4kW electric motor. It takes five hours to charge its 3kWh IP67 rated lithium-ion battery from a normal socket. The scooter can go up to 90km on a single charge. It has a top speed of 70km/h. Bajaj Chetak starts from Rs 1.43 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Ather 450X

Ather has been investing heavily in the electric scooter segment. The company launched the 450X with a futuristic design, appealing to the customers. The scooters come loaded with features like 4G connectivity, onboard navigation and other connected features.  It takes close to six hours to fully charge its battery using a standard home charging point. The scooter has a range of 116km on a single charge. It has a top speed of 80km/h. Ather 450X costs Rs 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom).

TVS iQube Electric

TVS needs no introduction in the two-wheeler market. TVS noticed the electric segment growing and launched the iQube scooter. The brand recently launched this scooter in Pune as well. The iQube looks like a traditional scooter, however gets a few design touches that lend it a futuristic appeal. It comes powered by a 4.4kW electric hub motor. It takes five hours to fully charge the battery and has a range of 75km. It has a top speed of 78km/h. The iQube is priced at Rs 1.12 lakh (ex-showroom).

Okinawa i-Praise

Okinawa is a new entrant into the electric scooter segment. The i-Praise has one of the highest ranges in the segment as it can do 150+km on a single charge. It also has one of the fastest charge times (three hours). It has a top speed of 70km/h. The i-Praise comes loaded with features like geo-fencing, virtual speed limit and GPS. The Okinawa i-Praise is priced at Rs 99,708 (ex-showroom).

Pure EV Epluto 7G

Pure EV is another company that is betting heavily on EVs. The Epluto 7G is their attempt to establish a market in India. This scooter can achieve between 90km to 120km range on a single charge, depending on the usage. It requires 4 hours to fully charge the battery. It has a top speed of 60kmph. Epluto comes with an LED headlamp, digital instrument cluster, and controls to change riding modes. The pricing of the Epluto starts from Rs 83,999 (ex-showroom).
