Hyundai Venue updated – What’s new?
Hyundai launched its first sub-compact SUV in 2019 for the Indian market. Since then, it has been one of the best selling cars in its segment. The Venue is known for its quirky design and features. To keep its lineup fresh and up to date, the brand keeps the Hyundai Venue updated. Hyundai does this by removing variants and adding features. The discontinued four variants of the Venue turbo [S MT, S iMT, S DCT, and SX(O) MT] and two of the diesel engines (base-spec E and second to base S). It has added two new variants, the S(O) and SX(O) with various transmission options to replace these discontinued variants. Let’s see what’s new in these variants.

S(O) variant
The new S(O) trim is based on the S trim. It is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. Transmission options include iMT and DCT for the petrol and manual for the diesel engine. This variant gives the Hyundai Venue updated features like projector headlamps with LED DRLs, cornering headlamps, 16-inch steel wheels, and a supervision instrument cluster. As it is based on the S trim, it comes with standard features like steering-mounted controls, manual air conditioning, cooled glovebox, and remote locking. Safety features include dual airbags and ABS with EBD. The DCT variants come with electronic stability control and hill start assist. The pricing of these variants starts from Rs 10.49 lakh and goes to Rs 11.53 lakh (on-road Mumbai).
Hyundai Venue updated SX(O) Executive variant
This Hyundai Venue updated variant is based on the SX variants of the Venue. It will be offered only with a diesel engine and manual transmission. The new variant gets additional features like electronic stability control, hill start assist, keyless entry, push-button start, rear washer and wiper and tyre pressure monitoring. It will also get 16-inch alloy wheels. The rest of the features will remain constant from the SX variants. This variant is priced at Rs 13.22 lakhs (on-road Mumbai).
