Celerio is a star performer for Maruti Suzuki. So they will try to bring in the second generation of it as soon as possible. The Celerio will be based on Maruti-Suzuki’s Heartect platform just like other new models. Mechanically it will share a lot of things with the new Wagon-R. The car will be powered by 1.2-litre and 1.0-litre petrol engines. Gearbox options will include manual and automatic gearboxes.
Maruti Vitara Brezza
The Vitara Brezza is one of the best selling cars in its segment. But it is now showing its age with being one of the oldest cars in the segment. So Maruti will be looking to introduce its next generation. Brezza like all the other new Maruti cars will be based on the Heartect platform. It will get more modern interiors and will come loaded with features. Maruti is also working on the diesel engine to introduce in this car and a petrol hybrid.
Mahindra is remodelling the XUV lineup as the current XUV500 will make way for the XUV700. The Current XUV 500 will come as a 5-seater car to compete with the C-SUV cars like the Creta and Seltos. The new generation XUV500 will come with an updated design and interiors. It will add features like dual-zone climate control, a premium sound system and a panoramic sunroof.
The Scorpio is one of the best selling cars from Mahindra. But the car is feeling the heat from the competition due to outdated design and interiors. So Mahindra will be looking to introduce the new Scorpio. The new generation Scorpio will come with a more modern design. Mahindra will also give it a modern interior and features to compete with the competition. Scorpio will get Thar’s engine options of 2.0 turbocharged engine and 2.2-litre diesel engine. The Nexon got a facelift in 2020 which made it more appealing. Now Tata will be thinking of bringing in the next generation of the Tata Nexon. It will be most likely based on the impact 3.0 design language. It will be the first to be based on this platform. We might see a more muscular front end of the car. The interiors will also get an update with a bigger touchscreen and semi-digital instrument cluster.
