Tata has once again brought out an amazing colour range for their premium cars viz. Harrier, Altroz, Nexon and Nexon EV in the form of Dark Editions. Tata had launched the Dark Edition Harrier back in 2019, however, this mid-size SUV has been updated along with first-timers viz. Nexon and Altroz. Let us go through the variants that the New Tata Dark Editions are available with.

Tata’s sub-4m compact SUV gets new Charcoal Black R16 alloys, Dark Edition badging, Sonic Silver highlights and matte Granite Black cladding. On the interior front, Nexon offers premium leatherette upholstery as well as tri-arrow perforations on seats and door trims. The front headrests come finished with an embroidered Dark signage in the Dark Edition. The Dark Edition will be made available in XZ+, XZA+, XZ+(O), and XZA(O) trims, in both petrol and diesel engine options.

Tata EV plans – What’s the roadmap?

Nexon EV Dark Edition is available in XZ+ and XZ+ LUX variants. Midnight Black colour, Satin Black finish on the window line and blue accents (Nexon EV-exclusive) are the key exterior highlights. The interiors get glossy black panels, dark themed leatherette upholstery with EV blue stitching on the seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Dark edition of gets more features than the standard Nexon EV, such as TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System). However, only the Nexon EV XZ+ variant will have a rear seat central armrest with cup holders, 60:40 rear seat split and adjustable rear seat headrests.

Altroz has always been admired for its futuristic design and the best-in-class 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. The Altroz Dark edition comes with a new Cosmo Black exterior body with a dark tint finish on the R16 alloys. Moreover, it gets dark chrome across its hood. The Granite Black interior theme along with perforations and deco blue stitching add to the premium feel of the cabin. The Altroz Dark Edition will be available in the XZ+ variants (petrol).

Harrier

As mentioned above, the Tata Harrier was the first car to get the Dark edition. The Dark cosmetic elements have now been updated. The new Harrier Dark has been equipped with the all-new Oberon black colour with a tinge of deep blue and R18 alloys that complements the king-sized road presence of this SUV. On the interiors, there is a black headliner, while the leatherette upholstery carries blue-themed contrasting motifs. The headrests also get the embroidered Dark badges, same as the Nexon. The Tata Harrier Dark Edition is being offered in the XT+, XZ+ & XZA+ variants.
