This engine comes equipped with active cylinder technology which shuts off the fuel supply and cam action of the cylinder two and three when the engine is on the low power requirement. This makes the turbocharged 1.5-litre engine quite fuel-efficient. Along with this, there is also the option of opting for a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that makes 113bhp and 175Nm of torque. Both these engines are paired with 6-speed manual gearboxes. The bigger engine gets seven-speed DCT whereas the smaller engine gets a six-speed automatic.
