Skoda Kushaq Price revealed – Launched, variants, specifications
The Skoda Kushaq Price has been announced at Rs 10.49 lakhs. Yes, finally the car that’s literal translation means KING is here. In this article, we are going to go through all the variants, features and specifications offered on this SUV. Bookings have been open for the car and deliveries are set to begin by 12th July.
Skoda Kushaq Price and variants
The price of the Kushaq starts at Rs 10.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). It goes up to Rs 17.59 lakhs with its 1.5-litre engine which can be had only with Style variant. The Kushaq is available in three variants and two engine options. There are 2 gearbox option on every engine options. The Style trim gets you chrome-plated window frames, door handles and sunroof too. There are 16-inch or 17-inch wheels depending on the variant. Also, the 17-inch wheels are available in the dual-tone option. Skoda will get more variants and even a Monte Carlo Edition later on.
Skoda Kushaq Dimensions
In terms of dimensions, Skoda Kushaq is 4225 mm in length and 1760 mm in width. The height of this SUV is 1612 mm. These dimensions also tell us that Skoda Kushaq has the largest wheelbase in the segment at 2651 mm. The ground clearance is 155 mm.
Skoda Kushaq Features
This SUV will come with automatic climate control, ventilated seats, a six-speaker surround sound system with a subwoofer and a 10-inch infotainment system. The infotainment system will have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. There will be cruise control on offer and a lot of other features that you see in vehicles like you would like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, MG Hector, etc.
According to the variant, the Skoda Kushaq will come with a choice of two different touchscreen options. Along with the 10-inch touchscreen option, there is also a 7-inch touchscreen which is offered on this vehicle. Both the systems offer wireless connectivity using SmartLink technology. The MySkoda connect mobile app will be used for this connectivity.
Skoda Kushaq Specifications
The Kushaq is offered with two engine options. The smaller engine is a 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit. The small engine makes 113 bhp and 175 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter gearbox. The bigger engine is a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. This makes 148 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. This is a sporty engine paired with a seven-speed DCT and comes with a manual option.
