TVS Motors has been testing the all-new, Apache 200 for some time in India. It now appears that the motorcycle major has taken their latest creation over to Indonesia for testing. The South-Asian country is among the most important export markets for TVS Motors.

The Apache 200 is reportedly based on the Draken concept motorcycle that TVS had showcased earlier at the Auto Expo in Delhi last year. TVS is expected to unveil their newest motorcycle to the world at the upcoming Auto Expo, to be held in January. Performance wise, the all-new motorcycle is expected to be powered by a 200cc single cylinder motor.

TVS is likely to offer liquid cooling on the same. Sources in Indonesia where the motorcycle is currently on test say that the Apache 200 will sport a double overhead camshaft and four valves.

Said to be high on torque, the Apache 200 is likely to offer best-in-class performance.

BMW Motorrad, TVS’s erstwhile partner in the manufacturing of single-cylinder motorcycle models, is said to have worked upon the Apache 200 as well. In terms of pricing, the Apache 200 is likely to be the new range-topping model at TVS Motors.

Earlier spy shots have revealed that the Apache 200 shall come fully loaded on the features front. Instrumentation on the motorcycle is to be an all-digital affair. The motorcycle shall be offered with premium tubeless tires as an option, in keeping with its positioning and performance.

The motorcycle shall also get split-seating. Braking duties shall be handled by petal disk brakes with ABS available as an option. Other details include a nifty engine belly pan, new tank cowls and redesigned alloys.
