To conclude the fifteen launches promised by Mercedes-Benz India, the auto-manufacturer launched the new version of the promising A-Class at approximately INR 26 lakhs on-road for the A180 Petrol and INR 28 lakhs for the A200d Diesel.

2015 was called “Live the Best” by Mercedes-Benz. It has been the most successful year for the brand. In this year, 3 cars were locally manufacturers, the CLA, GLA and the Maybach.

The A-class marked the launch of supposedly a segment that did not exist when it was launched back in 2013. The car was an instant success.

The car entered the market with amazing looks and the distinctive Mercedes-Benz diamond grille. With the new A-class the German company has stayed true to it’s design element and has enhanced this already good looking car.

The new A-class gets DYNAMIC SELECT, which allow the user to pick and choose the drive mode desired. These vary from “Comfort,” “Sport,” “ECO,” and “Individual.” As the name suggests the Comfort mode is the most balanced and default setting selects when the car is turned on. In “Sport” mode the transmission is enhanced for better performance and a more spontaneous throttle response.

The A-class comes in a A180 petrol and A200d diesel variants. The car comes with a 7 speed dual clutch gearbox.

 Mercedes-Benz Apps comes standard on the vehicle. The car gets a new LED-cluster.

The A-class comes in 5 different colours- green, red, white, silver and black. The new A-class also comes with standard black sporty rims. The new seats, the ARTICO fabric seats comes colour coded to the exterior colour of the car. The reverse parking camera comes with guiding lines as a part of the system now. The new A-Class comes with 6 airbags as standard.

For the second year in a row, Mercedes-Benz rates the highest among the luxury brands for customer satisfaction.
