Upcoming cars in 2021 – Know them here!

With carmakers bringing new products every year, they have planned something for this year as well. Multiple brands have a few products lined up to expand their portfolios. Where some products will be completely new, some will be just updates to the existing ones. Also, some products will open doors to new segments, whereas some will expand the recently developed segments. This article will deal with upcoming cars in 2021. Let’s go.

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki being the country’s biggest automotive manufacturer has some products lined up for the rest of the year. The brand launched the updated Swift during the initial few months of this year. Now, the new-gen Celerio will be the next launch from the brand. Post this, the brand is also expected to launch the new-gen Vitara Brezza which we might get to see by the end of this year. Along with this, we might also get to see the Jimny being unveiled in the country, with the final launch expected somewhere around early 2022.

MG

MG launched the update for its Hector and ZS EV this year. Now, the brand is ready with its Creta competitor as well. MG Astor has been caught testing multiple times which hint towards the car planned to launch sometime this year. The car will give a tough fight to Creta by coming loaded with features and at the same time, undercutting it in terms of pricing.

Hyundai

Hyundai’s biggest launch of 2021 will be its premium 7-seater, the Alcazar. The car, which is based on the Hyundai Creta will rival products like MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and the upcoming Mahindra XUV700.

Tata

Tata will foray into the world of the micro SUV segment with its upcoming HBX. The car has been spotted a number of times hinting towards an imminent launch. The car will rival products like the Mahindra KUV100 and the upcoming Hyundai AX1.

Mahindra

Mahindra will continue developing its SUV portfolio in the country with two new products this year. One product will be the Bolero Neo, which as a product is a modern touch to the iconic Bolero. However, the major launch of the year would be the XUV700. The brand will enter the premium 7-seater segment in the country with this car. The car will be a tough competitor to the Alcazar, the Safari and the Hector Plus.

Ford

Ford already brought the update for its EcoSport this year. So with that area handled, the brand is now expected to shift its focus towards bringing the much-awaited Mustang facelift. Customers have been eagerly waiting for the new one and we hope to see it on the streets sometime this year.

Nissan

Nissan launched its sales magnet, the Magnite close to the beginning of this year. The car has in a way revived the dwindling Japanese carmaker and brought it back to life. After this, the brand is now expected to bring the facelift for its Creta rival, the Kicks this year. The car although could not do great in its current form, but we hope the next one does the magic for the brand.

Renault

Renault’s biggest launch for the year was the Kiger. Kiger has given a big push to the overall sales figures of the brand. Now, we expect Renault to bring the new-gen Duster this year. The car, which is Renault’s answer to Creta has been awaiting a generation update for quite some time now.

Skoda

Skoda’s biggest launch of the year was its premium sedan, the Octavia, which was launched recently. After the Octavia, Kushaq will be its next big launch. The Kushaq will be a crucial launch for the brand since it is a product that will take on Creta. Once the brand is done with this, we expect Skoda to move on to other products like its upcoming mid-size sedan (being called the Slavia), the new Rapid and the Kodiaq.

Toyota upcoming cars in 2021

Toyota launched the new Fortuner a while ago. Similar to the previous cars, the new one has caught customers’ attention as well and is selling in considerable numbers. Now, the next big launches from Toyota are expected to be the rebadged Maruti Ciaz and Maruti Ertiga. The brand will be looking forward to expanding its portfolio in the country with assistance from Maruti. There is also a plan to introduce the Hilux.

Volkswagen upcoming cars in 2021

New Volkswagen Tiguan will be the next launch from the German brand. This will be followed by the launch of the Taigun. Once the brand with both of these, we expect Volkswagen to move forward to the new Vento which has been awaiting an update for quite some time now.
