The MG Astor car is mostly expected to come powered by a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated engine which will be capable of producing 118bhp and 150Nm of torque. A 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine might also be made available which will be capable of producing 161bhp and 230Nm of torque. Both these engines are expected to come mated with manual as well as automatic gearboxes. A diesel engine is however not expected for the car. Also, the car will come sat on 17-inch wheels.
