These cars will mainly be focused on first-time buyers as well buyers looking for affordable cars.

Upcoming Bikes in 2021

Tata HBX

upcoming under Rs 5 Lakh

The upcoming Tata HBX will be the brand’s first micro SUV. It will be a great option for buyers looking for an affordable car that will be able to offer them the feel of an SUV. Automatic AC, a floating touchscreen infotainment system, premium sound system and a semi-digital instrument cluster will be some of the prominent features. The car will be based on the ALFA-Arc platform and will follow Impact 2.0 design language. Tata HBX is mostly expected to start around Rs 5 Lakh (ex-showroom).

New Maruti Alto

Maruti Alto

Alto has been awaiting a generation change for quite some time now. We expect Maruti to be working on one so that Alto can receive a modern refresh. The next-gen will now be based on Maruti’s Heartect platform. We also expect to see Alto with improved interiors and modern exterior design. Alto will start below Rs 5 Lakh (on-road), making it an affordable option for buyers, similar to what it has been for the past many years.

How Maruti’s sales declined by 76% in May

Maruti Celerio

Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Celerio

Maruti Celerio is almost ready to be unveiled in the market. The car was supposed to launch in May, however, the sudden rise in cases has delayed the plans. Coming to the car, the next-gen Celerio will now be based on the Heartect platform. With the Heartect platform, the Celerio will now provide better ride and handling, along with improved NVH levels. We expect Maruti to load the Celerio with features to compete with tough competition in the market. We expect Maruti to price the first variant of Celerio somewhere around Rs 5 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Toyota Agya

upcoming Rs 5 Lakh

Toyota has not entered the hatchback territory after its Etios Liva was discontinued. However, the brand might now be planning a product called the Agya for the country. Toyota had filed a patent in the country a while ago. Toyota could place it against the Maruti Celerio and the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS. We expect Agya to come loaded with features to compete with the tough competition. Toyota’s hatchback is expected to start around Rs 5 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Toyota WagonR EV – 5 Expectations

Hyundai AX1

upcoming under Rs 5 Lakh

The Hyundai AX1 will be a strong product from the brand. The AX1 is expected to come loaded with features like a touchscreen infotainment system, premium sound system and wireless charging. The micro SUV will take inspiration from the Venue in terms of design. Hyundai will be launching the AX1 in competition to Tata HBX. So we expect the pricing to be around Rs 5 Lakh (ex-showroom).
