The Xpulse is a bike that has been the entry point to proper adventure/off-road bikes in India. The bike has a 200cc engine and makes enough power to give beginners confidence. There are some improvements that this bike needs to improve the riding experience. Now we expect that the new Hero Xpulse will come with these changes. These will improve the riding experience. New Headlight

The new Hero Xpulse 200 should get a better headlight setup, a projector preferably. The current headlight is a functional normal LED setup only because it is mounted higher than regular headlights. It lacks the intensity and throw. The spread is decent, but with better lights, the Hero Xpulse 200 will not require the user to add auxiliary lights even for city usage.

Improved Brakes

There are certain problems with the current-gen Hero Xpulse brakes. Being a bike with long-travel suspension it does not have the feedback but the ABS also feels intervening quite a lot. This needs to change in the new Hero Xpulse 200. The company need to revisit the way the complete breaking department and design brakes specifically for this bike. A lot of users can experiment with the change of brake pads but the disc part is rarely changed. Also, there should be switchable ABS and an option of dual-channel ABS on this bike.

New colors and tech improvement

It has been long since the Hero Xpulse 200 has been introduced in our market. It does come in the same colors since then and there have not been changes. We think that now the company should give it a graphics and color update for the coming year. Some new matte color option along with better sticker graphics should refresh the bike for the coming years.

The Instrument cluster does require a mild update. Overall it is a basic instrument cluster but it does require some changes as the gear position indicator does not show which gear you slotted unless you release the clutch. These small changes could improve the riding experience to quite an extent.
