Moreover, the car is expected to come powered by a 2.0-litre TSI engine which will be capable of making 187bhp & 320Nm of torque. This unit will mostly come paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. Skoda Octavia will see Shift-by-Wire technology incorporated for the first time.

Toyota is in the works to bring a rebadged version of the Ciaz. Although many people are calling it the ‘Belta’, we, however, will stick with Toyota Ciaz for now. The car will be a replacement for the Yaris and a premium mid-size sedan from the brand. The Toyota sedan will mostly be similar to the Maruti Ciaz, however, some minor alterations here and there are expected.
