Honda City has been a really successful product for the brand. It in fact has been one of the longest-running products in India. The brand, over the years, has shifted the City’s image from a performance sedan to a premium comfort-focused sedan. With every update, the car has become smarter and more feature-loaded. Design

Honda City hybrid exterior

The Honda City hybrid is nothing different than the regular car other than minor elements here and there that hint towards the hybrid variant. The hybrid car will get RS badging on the rear as well as the front, clearly making the hybrid easily differentiable. Honda City hybrid will also carry elements like diffuser plate at the rear, piano-black finished ORVM & spoiler and front grille with hexagonal mesh, Honda badge with blue accents and sporty fog lamp housings. The chrome strip housing the Honda badge is also expected to be finished in piano-black. The Honda City is mostly expected to remain the same on the inside as well. All-black interiors with red stitchings might be present to give a sporty feel to the City on the inside as well.

Pricing, Launch & Rivals

Toyota Camry

As mentioned above, the car is mostly expected to touch the Rs 18 Lakh price tag since the hybrid variant will be the top-of-the-line offering once launched here. The sedan will see no actual rival in its segment. The next jump would be directly for the Toyota Camry in terms of hybrids and the sedan costs close to Rs 48 Lakhs in the country. The hybrid is expected to launch sometime this year.
