Hyundai is planning to enter a new product in the Rs 5 lakh range. We expect this product to be the much speculated and spotted micro SUV that will compete with the upcoming Tata HBX and the cars like the existing Mahindra KUV100, Honda WRV and Ford Freestyle. Here are 5 segment-leading features we think this Rs 5 lakh Hyundai SUV might get, that will make it stand apart from its competition.
Complete LED lights
As it is with all new Hyundai vehicles this car too might get unique lighting set up. On the top variant, we can expect a full LED let up where the lower variants halogens. The front design seen in the spy images seems to be inspired by the Hyundai Venue, so we might see eyebrow LED daytime running lights with the main headlamp setup integrated in the front bumper. The grill will be also unique to this car. Overall, the final design will make it look like a mini- Hyundai Venue.
Traction Control
In terms of safety this car, the Rs 5 Lakh Hyundai SUV might come with a traction control system. To make the car safer to drive and also gun, Hyundai might consider giving the car driving modes too. Offering traction control on a Rs 5 lakh car would be really attractive for customers who value safety. It will add to the overall value quotient for buyers of this car.
Wireless Charging
Wireless Charging has been seen on all new cars by Hyundai. It is a trendy feature that will soon become standard in future. Also, its is expected that other cars in this segment might not offer wireless charging as their brand’s flagship products too have not been offered with it yet. Hyundai offers this feature on its cars from the Grand i10 Nios to the Hyundai Elantra and even the upcoming Alcazar will get it. So this upcoming micro-SUV will definitely get one.
Latest Bluelink connect
Being a Rs 5 Lakh Hyundai SUV it might not get all the features that you see on the Hyundai Creta or Verna but the Bluelink systems might be good and feature rich on this car. Also, since the Nios and Aura don’t get BlueLink, this would be the cheapest car in the Hyundai line-up to get one. Voice command features. 
Remote Engine Start/Stop
The remote engine stop function on the Hyundai i20 might be carried over to this car. This is a feature that cars like the Sonet, Creta, Verna and MG Hector get. If paired with BlueLink with this feature you can start the car, set the AC and let the car cool before you enter it. This will be a great feature to have on a sunny day.
