5 features we think Apple could bring with its car
Apple has been planning to develop an electric car for quite some time now. The brand had tried to partner with brands like Nissan, Hyundai & Kia in the past in order to help it with the manufacturing, however, could not close the final deals with any. A while ago, we had reported to you that the brands are now looking to partner with LG & Magna International for its electric powertrain and production requirements. In today’s article, we will discuss 5 features we think Apple could bring with its car. We believe that if Apple will make a car, it will make sure that it is integrated well with other Apple devices and gives buyers a unique iOS experience they are used to. Let’s go.
AirDrop
Apple’s AirDrop feature lets users quickly share files among Apple devices viz. iPhone, iMac and iPad wirelessly. The same thing might be carried forward to the car interface as well. Apple might probably let the owner play songs & videos, see documents via the infotainment system through AirDrop.
Voice Assistant
Apple has its own very famous voice assistant, Siri. Siri might be very well integrated into the car system that users can talk & engage with her as easily as they would do on their devices. Integrating Siri in the car itself would give users a homely feel and they would not need to struggle to engage with the car and perform functions.
Physical iOS experience
The brand has its unique design when it comes to the user interface & the physical aspect, and it does not feel shy to flaunt it. The same could be used on the car as well. We could get to see some buttons similar to the ones we see on the brand’s devices. Also, a touch ID might be provided in order for the car to recognize the owner. The car will only start once the correct owner is identified.
Special Editions
Apple does know how to play the ‘limited edition’ game. For instance, the brand has a special Apple Watch Hermes which gets high-quality hand-made bands from Hermes. Also, the brand celebrated the Chinese New Year with a limited edition AirPods Pro this year. So seeing this, we expect Apple Car to be offered in special editions as well.
Variants with Apple nomenclature
Apple has a unique way of differentiating its variants. We expect Apple to use a similar nomenclature for its car as well. For instance, the base variant of the vehicle could be called the SE variant, whereas the top of the line variant could be called the something else.
