Royal Enfield announced its entry into Thailand. It will open exclusive stores across the country and will launch its bikes in the mid-size motorcycle segment. The announcement was made at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2015.

Royal Enfield displayed its range of motorcycles at the Thailand International Motor Expo, including  Bullet 500, the retro styled Classic 500 and  the Continental GT cafe racer. Arun Gopal, International Business Head, Royal Enfield, said, “Our motorcycles are built to be timeless, uncomplicated, engaging, and accessible bikes for the city, as well as great touring or adventure rides, for novices, as well as experienced riders.”

In the coming months, Royal Enfield will commence its retail operations at Thonglor in Bangkok. It will set up sales and service outlets in partnership with General Auto Supply (GA). Royal Enfield has been expanding its global presence and the company already has opened its outlets in cities like London, Madrid, Paris, Dubai, Bogota and Medellin.

Royal Enfield also introduced its range of accessories collection for Thailand customers. These accessories will also be available at the exclusive stores of Royal Enfield, along with the motorcycles. The company has recently had a growth of mainly in India, South America and South East Asia. Thailand poses as a market with high potential for Royal Enfield bikes and the company is gung-ho about its entry into this growing market.
