The petrol unit will be capable of making 157bhp & 191Nm of torque and the diesel unit will make 113bhp & 250Nm of torque. The car will come loaded with features to give a tough fight to the competition.

The new Skoda Octavia will be a breath of fresh air for the customers as well as the brand. It will get a completely new exterior with new sleek LED headlights with LED DRLs and LED taillights. The car will come loaded on the inside as well. A two-spoke steering wheel, free-standing central touchscreen infotainment unit and Skoda’s updated Virtual Cockpit will be some of the major highlights. It is expected to come powered by a 2.0-litre TSI engine, capable of producing 187bhp and 320Nm of torque. The engine will be paired to a 7-speed DSG gearbox which uses shift-by-wire technology. Although we expect to see the Octavia coming next month, Zac Hollis’ recent tweet might indicate further delay.
