The Tata HBX has got customers eagerly waiting for quite some time now. The car has been spotted numerous times with multiple details of the car revealing gradually through spy shots. We had brought to you the exclusive interior spy shots of the Tata HBX a while ago. We have again received new spy shots of the car, this time shared by our reader, Mr Vishwajeet Tarde. In this article, we will discuss the new spy shots of the production-ready Tata HBX. Let’s go.
What information do the spy shots reveal?
The test mule in the spy shots can be clearly seen sporting diamond-cut alloy wheels. The presence of alloy wheels reflects the possibility of this particular car being a probable top variant. Although, this is expected to be the top variant, however, the car misses a shark fin antenna and an aggressive rear spoiler. Instead of them, it gets a traditional antenna and a not-so-aggressive spoiler housing the high stop mount lamp. Other details like pillar-mounted rear door handles and rear washer-wiper are also clearly visible. When looked closely at the camouflaged portions, the gaps reveal a white colour body. Also, to analyse the spy shots closely, we have taken a Maruti WagonR in the background as our reference for understanding the dimensions of the car. When compared, the HBX is not expected to be taller than the WagonR; also, the HBX clearly has a higher ground clearance than the WagonR. We will get a better idea of this when the car is shown without camouflage and the body is shown.
What do we know so far?
In one of our previous articles, we explored the interior spy shots of the HBX. A lot of information was revealed from the interior spy shots. The main highlights were the presence of a semi-digital instrument cluster, similar to one on the Altroz, a multi-function steering wheel similar to the Tiago, the Altroz and the Nexon, seats with blue stitching, a 12V charging socket and a fast-charging USB port. You can read more about the interiors of the HBX in the article linked above.
We were expecting the Tata HBX to launch sometime soon, however, due to the sudden rise of cases in the country, multiple car manufacturers have halted their production. Due to this, we now believe that the customers would have to wait a little more before any new launch details emerge.
