Ford India are still some time away from the launch of their new, 2016 Endeavour. The manufacturer however is all set to announce the opening of bookings for their full-size SUV, sometime later in the month. Meanwhile, the 2016 Endeavour has been spotted at a dealership in full, production ready guise. This is not in the ‘Everest’ badging, as it is known in other global markets, but in the India-specific, ‘Endeavour’ badging.

The ladder frame chassis in the 2016 Endeavour is an all-new affair and together with the updated four-wheel drive system, the SUV should set the benchmark when it comes to off-road performance in its segment. The refreshed underpinnings and associated hardware should make it a significantly better in driving dynamics over its earlier avatar.

In the appearances department, the Endeavor can trace its roots back to the ‘Everest’ concept that Ford had showcased back in 2013. The signature trapezoidal grille gives a purposeful look to the front end of the 2016 Endeavour. LED DRL’s make an appearance in this version, while the alloy wheels sport a fresh, new design. The bumper out front is an all-new affair as well. Ford have enhanced the brawny SUV’s looks with under body protection at the front and rear, finishing it in a brushed silver paint scheme.
