Maruti Suzuki has recovered quite well from the losses incurred to the company due to the pandemic. The company also launched the new Swift not-so-long-ago. The company already has some fixed launches this year, and some are products that might come next year or probably much later. In this article, we will discuss 8 upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars in India.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio
Maruti has been readying the next-gen Celerio for quite some time now. Multiple spy shots have already surfaced confirming this product’s presence. Also, we had earlier reported to you that the new Celerio is coming this May. The next-en Celerio will now be based on the Heartect platform, meaning it will provide better ride and handling, along with improved NVH levels. Also, the car is expected to come loaded with features in order to regain its position in the market.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz diesel
Maruti started marketing itself as a petrol engine promoting last year. The brand completely shunned diesel engines from its line-up. Now, however, the brand might have realized that some of its products could be losing customers due to the unavailability of diesel engines. So, we believe the diesel engine could make a comeback, and Maruti Ciaz could be one of the products to receive it.
The news that Maruti is planning to launch the Jimny in the country has garnered a lot of attention from enthusiasts. The off-roader unlike the 3-door version for the foreign markets is expected to come as a much-practical 5-door vehicle. The car will revive old memories of the Gypsy once launched here.
Maruti Grand Vitara
Maruti currently does not have a strong product above the Vitara Brezza that could take on cars like Hyundai Creta. The brand, in foreign markets, does have the Grand Vitara that could come to rival cars in the C-segment. The possibility of the Vitara coming is unsure, however, we would love to see Maruti take on cars like the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos.
Maruti XL5 has been a product that is being awaited for quite some time now. The XL5 will be a treat for customers who wish to buy a Wagon R but want a more premium looking product. The XL5 will be based on the Wagon R but will look more upmarket from the outside as well as the inside compared to the Wagon R.
Maruti Swift CNG
Maruti Suzuki Swift has undoubtedly been the most successful hatchback of all time in the country. The sales numbers reveal the same thing. The car perfectly blends performance with style. We wish to see a CNG Swift as it would greatly enhance the value-for-money factor of this already great product.
New-gen Maruti Suzuki Alto
Alto has been the brand’s most successful hatchbacks. The car, however, has been awaiting a generation change for quite some time now. The major change on the new-gen Alto will be that it will now be based on the Heartect platform, similar to the upcoming Celerio. Also, the Alto we expect to see the new one with improved interiors as well as modern exterior design.
New-gen Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza
The Vitara Brezza has been going strong since its debut. The product, however, now awaits a generation change in order to compete with the existing as well as the upcoming competition. The next-gen Vitara Brezza is now expected to come with a diesel unit, that the current one misses. Also, the next-gen car could see updated Hybrid tech to help in the propulsion of the car and improve the mileage too.
