The SUV has been code-named YTB as of now within Maruti Suzuki. The car, similar to the Baleno, will be based on the Heartect platform. Being based on the Heartect platform, the car will be able to deliver reduced NVH levels along with good ride and handling, ultimately leading to great driving pleasure.

The upcoming car might carry a coupe-inspired design, similar to what we saw with the Futuro-E during Auto Expo 2020. The car will limit itself to just taking inspiration from the Baleno.
