Mahindra XUV500 automatic costs INR 17.08(on-road, Delhi)

Mahindra has launched the XUV500 automatic and this new SUV will be priced at INR 17.08 lakhs (on-road, Delhi). The new XUV500 will be powered by the same 2.

2-litre mHawk engine and it will come mated to six-speed automatic transmission.

The XUV500 will also be launched with a new petrol and hybrid engine sometime next year.

The XUV500 got a facelift this year and the automatic will made available on the top-of-the-line variant. The XUV500 will get AISIN automatic transmission. This new transmission is likely to be used on the Scorpio in the near future as well. The XUV500 comes with features like keyless entry, push start and stop, touchscreen system with satellite navigation, reverse parking camera, six airbags and ABS.

The Mahindra XUV500 and the Scorpio are the only two SUVs (seven-seater) that are offered with an automatic in this price bracket of under INR 20 lakhs. The Mahindra XUV500 even gets daytime running LEDs, projector headlamps and even new set of alloy wheels. The new XUV500 is also exported to other markets and the automatic will be one of the key products that will be sold.

Mahindra XUV500 sales have been going strong and now the brand is also looking at adding more value to its portfolio as the demand for automatics is on the rise. Mahindra XUV500 has been due to be launched with an automatic for a while and now it will be launched soon.

The Mahindra XUV500 will be offered with an automatic in W8 front wheel drive, W10 front wheel drive and W10 all-wheel drive variants.
