New Porsche 911 spotted

The facelifted Porsche 911 (991.2) has just been revealed official and Porsche has already started to work on the next generation 911. At first looking like an older facelift prototype we can see the wider rear fenders indicating that there is something completely different driving. This is still an very early chassis and engine mule for the next generation 911 so the looks will of course be changed before the debut in late 2017/early 2018.

But since this is an Porsche 911 don’t expect the new look to be so much different, since the 911 just keeps on with its evolution. But there will be an revolution under the skin since the next generation 911, possible known as the 992, will be available as an hybrid for the first time in the 911´s history. And that fact might be the reason for the 911 to grow once again in order to fit all that hybrid technology and at the same time keep the rear seats.

The new 911 will be making its debut sometime by the end of 2016. The new 911 does look a lot more appealing and this will add to the styling factor and some more downsizing is likely to happen.

Thank you CarPix for the images.
