The new Volkswagen Taigun will be based on the indigenously-built MQB A0 IN platform, similar to the Skoda Kushaq. The platform will also be seen underpinning the upcoming Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Vento. Since the platform will be indigenously-built, it will allow the brand to push competitive pricing in the market. Moreover, most of the parts will be made here itself, meaning the after-sales services of the brand in the country are bound to improve.
