Design

The Hyundai Staria, from the initial teaser images, looks stunning from the front. Smooth exterior shape with the main LED headlamp unit set quite low, give it a modern appeal. A horizontal sleek LED strip flowing across the front gives it a futuristic look as well. The headlamps are square-shaped, giving it a retro touch.

On the rear, the Staria is expected to follow a regular MPV-ish design, similar to what is shown in the concept. Nothing flashy is set at the rear.

Rivals & Pricing

The Hyundai Staria would rival the Toyota Innova and other 7-seaters in the country. Moreover, it will also compete with the Kia 7-seater MPV which is expected to break cover in the coming time. The pricing of the Staria is expected to be kept somewhere around the Rs 20 Lakh price tag to give its competition a tough time.

Would it make sense for the country?

With multiple brands now giving attention to MPVs as well, the Hyundai Staria would make absolute sense for the country. With Hyundai’s old habit of offering great value-for-money products, Staria might be able to give the well-established products in its price bracket a tough time.
