To give you a basic idea the Royal Enfield Hunter is a n upcoming motorcycle from Royal Enfield. It has been spotted a number of times while testing but all those test mules were masked. Here are a few thing that you might not know about the Royal Enfield Hunter.
New Instrument Cluster
This Royal Enfield just like any other Royal Enfield will not borrow its instrument cluster from any other bike. This unit seems completely different and does not seem to have a tachometer. Also the test bikes have not been spotted with any tripper module. This being said the tripper could be added to the motorcycle when it is launched.
Interceptor design
Although the Royal Enfield makes use of the Interceptor 650 design the frame might be shared with the Meteor. This new J frame might keep the vibration under check and also make the bike handle better.
350cc engine
The Royal Enfield Hunter might get the same 350cc new engine as on the Meteor. The state of tune on this engine will be different bit the overall feel will be close to what Royal Enfield users expect. The more power will be much more accessible because of the sportier ergonomics of the vehicle. We have no clarity on whether there will be a GT version of this motorcycle like the 650.
Sportier ergonomics
The Royal Enfield Hunter will have slightly rear-set footpegs. No clarity on the type of gear shifter that will be used. Also the handle bar will be flatter and stretched out. The seat is expected to be a single piece seat but there will be clear demarcation for the rider and the pillion.
Rivals
Although a lot of you might have considered the Meteor 350 and the Classic 350 before buying the Honda CB350 but the real rival is the Hunter. If you compare both these bikes side to side you will understand the similarities and also the changes that are expected from Royal Enfield.
